This Privacy Policy explains how Cadreworks ("Cadreworks", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and the Cadreworks application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. Passwords are never stored in plain text — we store only a salted cryptographic hash.
Google sign-in. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your basic profile with us — your email address, name, and profile picture — which we use to create or sign you into your account. We do not receive your Google password.
Conversation content. Messages you send to your AI colleagues, and the responses generated, are stored so your conversations resume where you left off.
Usage and technical data. We process limited technical data such as IP address and request metadata to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and apply rate limits.
Cookies. We use a single, strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
To authenticate you and keep your account secure;
To generate AI responses to your requests;
To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
To communicate with you about your account or important changes.

3. AI processing and third-party model providers

Cadreworks generates responses using large language models operated by third-party providers. To produce a reply, the content of your prompt (and relevant conversation context) is transmitted to the model provider over an encrypted connection. We send only what is needed to generate the response, and we do not sell your content. We encourage you not to submit sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information in chats.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers ("sub-processors") who help us run the Service, such as our AI model provider, hosting, and infrastructure vendors, under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
To comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Cadreworks and our users;
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information and conversations for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual conversations at any time within the app. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.

6. Security

We protect your data with measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and respond promptly to issues. See our Security page for more.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

8. International transfers

Cadreworks operates online and may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
